Jeremy Thomas will portray Nico (Nick) Moretti (The Lighthouse keeper)
Jeremy Thomas has appeared in several Southern Broadway productions, having first appeared in “Hawkins Pass”. He was also in Somewhere in Italy, Marooned on Madagascar, Coming Home, Bunkhouse Blues, Cabin at Yellow Wood, Jury #7, The Christmas Gift, Mississippi Slim and the Deadwood Saloon, Merchants of London and Granny's Christmas Vacation. He is an alumnus of Troy State University where he was a member of nearly every musical ensemble while in pursuit of a degree in music education. While at Troy, he was privileged to accompany great music artists such as The Temptations, Brian McNight, and Lee Greenwood. He was also a co-founder and member of Troy State's first ever, award--winning A Cappella group. He and his family often visit the Enterprise Nursing home to sing to the residents.
Scotty Johnson will portray Captain Simon P. Rendil (Sea Captain)
Scotty Johnson has been in numerous theatrical/musical productions around the community for several years and is particularly proud of his roles in several Southern Broadway productions. He has appeared in The Depot, Professor Ballyhoo and His Traveling Miracle Medicine Show, Hawkins Pass, Marooned on Madagascar, Coming Home, Hawkins Pass 2-Bunkhouse Blues, Juror #7, Mississippi Slim and the Deadwood Saloon and recently Granny's Christmas Vacation. He has also appeared in Christian movies, commercials and a musical CD. Scotty is a retired US Army Chief Warrant Officer 5. He thanks GOD every day for being able to perform in front of all the AWESOME people that come to see "live" Theater.
Leah Lancaster will portray Sophie Quinn (General store owner's daughter / grocery delivery)
Leah Paige Lancaster is a graduate of Troy University and has loved music since the day she was born. First performing onstage at the tender age of three, Leah soon began singing regularly in churches, eventually going on to compete in national vocal competitions and winning 2009’s Enterprise Idol with her own rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel.” Her passion for theatre, in combination with her vocal talent, allowed her to play a number of ensemble roles in SEACT’s Les Misérables and won her the lead role of Elphaba in Troy University’s production of Wicked. She has most recently appeared in Southern Broadway’s Juror #7, portrayed the shy songbird “Rose” in Mississippi Slim and the Deadwood Saloon, and played colorful candy-maker “Lottie Carmella” in Merchants of London. Miss Lancaster currently works as a reporter for the Enterprise Ledger newspaper.
Madeleine Burnett will portray Ava Moretti (Lighthouse keeper's daughter)
Madeleine Burnett is a 14-year-old Dothan native who discovered her passion for acting and singing about four years ago. She has performed in a variety of venues and events and has received awards at the local and national level at a competition in New York City. In her first Southern Broadway appearance she portrayed Piper in Cabin at Yellow Wood. Since then, she was cast as Hellen Keller and as Jasmine in SEACT’s productions of The Miracle Worker and Aladdin and portrayed Annie in the Enterprise State Community College musical production. She has attended The Juilliard School Summer Performing Arts Camp in Switzerland. Last summer she completed classical voice training at the Interlochen Center for the Arts as well as two camps for movies, television and musical theater in New York City. She is thrilled and honored to return to Southern Broadway!
Kristi Burgess will portray Millicent Perkins (Headmistress of the Royal Academy of Music)
Kristi Burgess is an Enterprise native who has a deep love for the stage. Her vocal training began in junior high and extended through her early college years. She was enrolled in acting classes at Troy University where she honed her skills under the instruction of Quinton Cockrell. She has been seen in 3 productions associated with Enterprise State Community College, 2 music videos, 1 short film, 1 commercial, and 5 Southern Broadway plays where she was last seen as Imelda Merkel/ Emerald Merkale in “The Christmas Gift.” Kristi is thrilled to be returning to the stage after a long absence as Madam Millicent Perkins in “Harbor Lights.”
Kendall Holland will portray Percy Addison (Cabin boy)
Kendall Holland is an Enterprise native and a student at Enterprise High School where he takes theatre classes. This is the fourth Southern Broadway production he has been involved in. He made his stage debut as Rob Carter in “Coming Home” in 2016. He returned to play Joseph, an orphan, in “The Christmas Gift” in 2017. In 2018, he was brought on as a ‘stage ninja’ in “Granny’s Christmas Vacation.” He considers himself truly blessed to be able to return to the stage in this production.
